In order to predict developments in IT security and to better meet our customer’s needs, SONEMA recently took part in the « Assises de la Sécurité », a key event in the Cyber Security solutions sector which takes place in Monaco every year.
In addition to 3 floors of stands, the exhibition also organises 3 days of workshops to allow participants to gather feedback and discuss best practices for setting up cyber security strategies.
The main theme of this year’s exhibition was secure digital transformation, and the underlying question of all the conferences and presentations was whether this secure digital transformation should be considered as an obstacle or an opportunity.
Other themes concerned the growing need for cloud security, in particular in the context of mobility. This requires a network supervision strategy and convergence between mobile security and identity management.
Compliance with the GDPR which will take effect as of May 2018, was also the theme of several presentations and workshops.
The last major trend to be noted was the widespread use of Artificial Intelligence for advanced threat analysis and the search for latent or as yet unknown threats.
The 18th edition of the Assises de la Sécurité will take place from the 10th to the 13th October 2018.
