In 2016, SONEMA decided to strengthen its presence in the field by creating local points of contact and signing commercial partnerships with 5 African companies* in order to work more closely with their clients.

In 2017, this decision was demonstrated by the organisation of 3 workshops in Niger, Guinea and Burkina Faso, each of which brought together 50 IT network managers to discuss their IT and Telecoms requirements.

In 2018, the strategy was reinforced once again. From the 12th-16th March, SONEMA hosted its partners for a week of intensive discussions and training sessions with the various SONEMA teams. This event was the occasion to exchange best practices, assess the technical issues arising in each country and to get to know a new range of services based on the framework of Connectivity, Hosting and Security.

Following the seminar, the SONEMA partners are now better able to listen to customers and meet their requirements, tackle the key telecommunications issues for businesses and offer effective tailormade solutions.
