During the COVID-19 Coronavirus epidemic that rages in many countries around the world, SONEMA would like to share with you the plan of action it has put in place to deal with this exceptional situation. Our top priority is to guarantee business continuity of the services we provide to you while protecting our team members that provide these same services.

Therefore, we have implemented the following practices and policies with immediate effect:

  • The business continuity plan in our Network Operations Center (NOC) has been updated to maintain all of the services provided to our customers. Our teams at Fréjus and Lognes teleports are organized into different groups, physically separated. We also have a distinct team working through teleworking using secure connection allowing them to access all of the tools necessary to provide support and maintenance; the NOC remains operational and available 24 x 7.
  • As it has always been the case, our local Partners located throughout Africa remain mobilized to intervene on your operational sites; this unique partnership network allows SONEMA to guarantee the business continuity of its services. The situation in all of our operational territories will be reviewed regularly in order to adapt to changing sanitary conditions.
  • Even though our offices and facilities are equipped with protocols and sanitary supplies to prevent any potential risk of contamination, we have implemented a policy of teleworking across the organization. Furthermore, except in the event of Force Majeure, we have cancelled all international travel, rather encouraging videoconferences.

In addition, we are in discussions with our customers to ensure that our business continuity plans are aligned with yours.

We will continue to adapt to the changing circumstances while delivering the same high quality services to our customers, and protecting the safety of our personnel, and those of our customers.
